Dear Parents,
Please consider these Bible instructions concerning teaching children the scriptures: “Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land….” Deuteronomy 11:18-21
These words make it clear how important it is for parents to teach their children about the Lord. As a career teacher, I have long tried to promote the teaching of the Bible to children.
In order to make this training easy and simple, I am writing a series of simple Bible drills which children can learn quickly. Parents are encouraged to go over these questions with their children FREQUENTLY (during meals, while sitting around, while driving, etc.). Make it fun. Have little contests with little rewards. Let the children see that God’s word is important to you. The training you provide will last for a lifetime! Don’t let them grow up and leave home without a good knowledge of the Scriptures.
The Old Testament phase of questions are recorded in the links below. If you have questions click "Contact Marion" on the menu on the left.
